Lake Chenghai or Cheng Hai ( 程 海 , Chéng Hǎi , English Lake Chenghai ), also known in Chinese as Heiwu Hai ( 黑 乌海 , Hēiwūhi ), is a lake in the southwest of Yongsheng County in the northwest of the Chinese province of Yunnan . It is located in a seismically active area. The Chenghai Fault ( 程 海 断裂带 ) is named after him. The lake is about 1500 m above sea level, its area is 77 square kilometers.
