Chew Choon Seng ( Chinese  周俊成 , Pinyin Zhōu Jùnchéng ) is the CEO of Singapore Airlines .

After studying mechanical engineering at the University of Singapore , he completed a Masters in Operations Research and Management from Imperial College ( London ).

Chew has been with Singapore Airlines since 1972. Before becoming CEO in 2003, he was Vice Chairman and was responsible for finance, human resources, strategic planning and legal matters, among other things.

He is also chairman of SMRT Corporation and the Singapore Aircraft Leasing Enterprise . He is also the director of Singapore Airport Terminal Services Ltd. and SIA Engineering Company .

Note: This article places the family name before the person's first name. This is the usual order in Chinese. Chew is the family name here, Choon Seng is the first name.
