Chiara Sambuchi (* 1975 in Pesaro ) is an Italian journalist and director .

biography

Chiara Sambuchi graduated from the “Gioacchino Rossini” music conservatory in Pesaro, where she graduated in classical guitar. She studied philosophy at the “ Università degli studi di Bologna ”, received a research grant from her university in 1998 and moved to Berlin . After completing her studies, she worked in the RAI correspondence office in Berlin and later co-founded the production company LAVAFILM. Since 2002 she has been working as an author and director of documentaries and reports for German public television stations. Many of her films are international co-productions for television and cinema.

She won the Axel Springer Prize for young journalists in 2008 for her report on the 37 ° series “My world has a thousand riddles” .
