The Chicago Temple is a skyscraper in Chicago with a height of 169 meters (other sources speak of 173 meters) and 29 floors. Neo-Gothic spire

The first United Methodist Church in Chicago is located on the ground floor with approx. 1000 seats, while the second floor has a chapel, other church rooms and the administration of the parish. Above, on the third and fourth floors, there are rooms for the Sunday school , a conference room and a room for the church choir. The next 17 floors to the 21st floor are offices that are mainly rented to lawyers.

Above it is the Sky Chapel , which was donated in 1952 by the family of Myrtle Walgreen, at a height of around 120 meters . The top of the building in the form of a Gothic church tower rises to a height of 169 or 173 meters. Since it is not a pure church building, it is not the highest church tower in the world , but it is the highest church spire in the world, measured from street level.
