supporting documents

Sahathor was the son of the father of God Haanchef and the king mother Kemi. His siblings included Neferhotep I , who ruled before him, and his successor Sobekhotep IV.

Sahathor ruled Turin only a few months (0 years,? Months, 3 days) after the royal papyrus , he does not appear on the royal list of Karnak . As a prince, he is documented on inscriptions on the first cataract ( Sehel island ) and on the way from Schellal to Aswan , also on two statues from the Hekaib sanctuary of Elephantine . Perhaps a pearl is inscribed with his throne name, and a seal cylinder has also been found, but the reading of the king's name on these objects is controversial, so that there are doubts about the assignment of these objects to Sahathor and he may never reign as an independent ruler. After all, there is even a posthumous statue on which he appears only as the prince's son .
