The Chilean wax bell , also Chilean wax flower , one of the rare crest figures in heraldry and is only in the Chilean coat of arms to be found. In European heraldry it belongs to the unknown figure and in German literature the description of the heraldic figure is still pending. The climbing plant is something like a national flower . The Chilean heraldry is based on the history of the Spanish heraldry .

Is shown the red flower with three petals lightly superimposed on the green calyx and the open side to sign foot pointing (bellflower similar). The heraldic figure is slightly stylized and can be in the shield with a leafed tendril stem .
