Chinese State Circus

The Chinese State Circus (own spelling but State Circus ) is a traveling circus that was founded in the Chinese city ​​of Qiqihar in 1952 . Its aim is to promote Chinese circus arts abroad. The program essentially consists of acrobatics . Although animal numbers can also be seen in the circus in China, they are completely avoided on tours abroad. All performing artists come from China and are trained according to the Chinese Ma Xi tradition.

During his performances, in addition to acrobatic numbers derived from Chinese martial arts and the Peking Opera , classical interludes on the trapeze are shown.
