Chinese Science and Technology Museum
The Chinese Museum of Science and Technology (abbr .: CSTM) or Chinese Science and Technology Museum ( Chinese 中国 科学 技术 馆 / / 中國 科學 技術 館 , Pinyin zhōngguó kēxué jìshù guǎn , English China Science and Technology Museum ) is located in the Chinese Capital Beijing near the Olympic Stadium and is the National Chinese Museum of Science and Technology. The museum was opened in another building near the city center in 1988, expanded in 2000 and relocated to the current building until 2010 for the Olympic Games.
The topics The Glory of China and Science Paradise (F1), Exploration and Discovery (F2), Sci-tech and Life (F3) and The Challenges and the Future (F4) are presented on four levels with an exhibition area of around 16,000 square meters. There are also four movie theaters in the museum, including an IMAX cinema and a 4D cinema with special effects.
