The surgical clinic is a clinic building of the Carl Gustav Carus University Hospital in Dresden's Johannstadt .

description

The building at Fetscherstraße 19 was converted into a surgical clinic in 1956 using the undamaged structure of the children's clinic built in the 1930s according to plans by Heinz Mersiowsky in the style of socialist classicism . Mersiowsky raised the two-story building by two stories. Two side buildings with a front length of 14 window axes each adjoin the central wing with windows. Two low extensions flank the building to the west and east.
