Christian Le Squer (2015)

Christian Le Squer (born September 30, 1962 ) is a French chef . His restaurant Le Cinq in Paris has been awarded three Michelin stars .

After completing his training, Le Squer started cooking at the Jean Guéhenno in Vannes in 1986 . In 1995 he moved to Café de la Paix in Paris , which was awarded a Michelin star in 1996 and a second in 1998. In 1999 he succeeded Ghislaine Arabian as head of the Ledoyen Pavilion in Paris, which was awarded two Michelin stars in 2000. In 2001 he bought the restaurant. In 2002 the restaurant received the third star.

In 2008 he opened another restaurant Etc (Épicure traditionnelle cuisine) in Paris , which received a Michelin star in 2009. In 2011 he founded the La Grande Verrière restaurant on the Bois de Boulogne .

Since 2014 he has been the head chef of the Le Cinq restaurant at the Four Seasons Hotel George V in Paris, which received two Michelin stars in 2015 and three stars in 2016.
