Christian Murro

Christian Murro (born May 19, 1978 in Saronno ) is a former Italian cyclist .

Christian Murro finished second in the Klingnau reservoir tour in 2000 . In the 2003 season he was second in the Baby Giro and second in the Piccolo Giro di Lombardia . The following year Miche signed him and he won the Gran Premio Industria e Commercio Artigianato Carnaghese . From 2005 he drove for the Professional Continental Team Tenax . In 2007 he won Tre Valli Varesine and finished second at Halle-Ingooigem .

In January 2008, Murro tested positive for furosemide as part of a training control , and he was banned for doping until April 2010 . In response, he ended his career. In November 2010, however, he was subsequently acquitted of the charge of doping. An Italian court confirmed Murro's version that he accidentally ingested the substance with an herbal tea.
