Christian and Inge Kracht Foundation

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Christian and Inge Kracht Foundation supports projects that offer help to the sick and carers on a human, psychological, social and spiritual as well as pastoral level. It supports organizations and institutions and professionally trained caregivers who provide the affected people with competent professional support and enable them to live their lives as independently as possible and in dignity.

engagement

The Christian and Inge Kracht Foundation supports projects and measures that help people to spend the very last phase of their lives as they wish. Linked to this is the realization that not every disease is curable and that medicine should be based on the reality of disease development and the ideas of the people affected.

It promotes technical facilities and specialist knowledge in the field of palliative care and is involved in the development of hospice organizations. It supports institutions in accepting people in precarious life situations.

organization

The Christian and Inge Kracht Foundation was launched on May 5, 2017. It is a non-profit and non-denominational foundation based in Zurich and is active throughout Switzerland as part of its foundation purpose.

Operational management is the responsibility of an independent office that accepts funding applications; the board of trustees decides on the awards.

The foundation is a member of palliative.ch, the Swiss Society for Palliative Care and the umbrella organization Hospices Schweiz.
