Chronicling America
Chronicling America is a website that provides historical newspapers from the United States in digital form (scanned and searchable database). The website was launched in 2005 and is part of the National Digital Newspaper Program (NDNP). NDNP is a partnership between the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) and the Library of Congress (LC).
A prize is awarded for each scan of 100,000 pages by volunteers.
