Chusang Rinpoche
Chusang Rinpoche ( Tib. Chu bzang rin po che ; Chin. Quezang huofo 却 藏 活佛 or Quezang hutuketu 却 藏 呼图克图) is an important incarnation series of the Gelugpa monasteries Kumbum and Gönlung Champa Ling , who are also abbots of the monasteries Chusang and Chakhyung represents.
The 1st Chusang Rinpoche was Chusang Namgyel Peljor ( chu bzang rnam rgyal dpal 'byor ; 1578-1651).
Other famous representatives are the 2nd and 6th Chusang Rinpoche: Lobsang Tenpe Gyeltshen ( Blo bzang bstan pa'i rgyal mtshan ; 1652–1723) and Lobsang Tenpe Wangchug ( Blo bzang bstan pa'i dbang phyug ; * 1914).
