Ciby2000
Ciby2000 (also CiBy 2000 or CIBY 2000 ; abbreviation of ci néma de B ou y gues ) is a French film production company . It was founded in 1990 by the entrepreneur Francis Bouygues . Ciby2000 mainly produces art house and independent films . In 1998 the company had to stop film production for financial reasons, and in 2004 it was able to start again.
The production company funded several David Lynch films , including Twin Peaks - Fire Walk With Me (1992) and Lost Highway (1997). The Piano (1993), Lies and Secrets (1996) and The Taste of the Cherry (1997) each won the Palme d' Or at the Cannes Film Festival .
