The historic Cine Doré (Eng. "Golden Cinema") is located in Madrid ( Spain ), on Calle Santa Isabel, number 3. It was built on the initiative of the Catalonia-born businessman Arturo Carballo and inaugurated in December 1912. It was renovated in 1925 by Manuel López-Mora Villegas and is now a listed building.

Since 1989 it has been the cinema and exhibition hall of the Filmoteca Española , where public meetings are also held. The Filmoteca Espanyola is an official Spanish body within the Institut de la Cinematografia i de les Arts Audiovisuals . Its aims are the recovery, research and preservation of the Spanish film heritage and its dissemination. The functions of the Filmoteca Espanyola are determined by royal decree.

A careful renovation made it possible to restore the special facade and the main hall. In addition, another screening room has been opened in the basement and exhibitions can be held on the terrace. In the lobby of the complex there is a cafeteria and a bookstore specializing in movie themes.
