The Citadele Bank (Latvian: Citadele banka) was one of the largest banks in Latvia , located in Riga . The bank is the exclusive settlement partner of the American Express credit card company in Latvia and Lithuania .
The bank was created in 2010 by splitting off the troubled Parex Bank, which is now under state administration .
