Clach Mhic Leoid
The Clach Mhic Leoid (also Clach Mhicleoid MacLeod's Stone is known or Nisabost) a menhir ( English Standing Stone ) north of the 159 m high Cleit Niosaboist in Horgabost on the peninsula Luskentyre, south of the Outer Hebrides -Insel Harris in Scotland .
The flat Clach Mhic Leoid is about 3.3 meters high, 1.45 meters wide and 0.38 meters thick. It stands on a small hill at the north end of Traigh Iar Beach on the west coast of the island, overlooking Tarasaigh Island . It was built more than 4,500 years ago and later named after the local clan chief.
Nearby is the grave chamber is ( English chambered tomb ) Coire Na Feinne .
