Claude (alternative pseudonym Claude Quick ; bourgeois Claude Aubert; * 1959 in Zurich ) is a former Swiss pop musician.
Live and act
His self-written debut single Nüt ... was the first successful Swiss rap single. It reached number 8 in the national charts. The piece is more of a parody of rap music with stylistic devices from the Neue Deutsche Welle . By repeating the word nüt (“nothing”) 217 times , the perceived monotony of rap and hip-hop is caricatured (“it just happens nut, just nut nut nut ...”). In addition to the Swiss dialect version , there were also versions in Standard German ( Nothing ), French ( Rien ) and English ( Nowt ). After the second unsuccessful single Wie gaht's , Claude withdrew from the music business. He now lives in the United States as a graphic designer .
