The Clausen Memorial Museum is a museum located in Petersburg (Alaska) since 1968 . Its focus is on the history of southern Alaska , but most of all the town itself. It is located at 203 Fram Street.

This museum is a private facility run by a Board of Trustees . This hires a director - currently (as of 2020) this is Cindi Lagoudakis - and part-time employees during the summer season. The collection ranges from prehistory through the Tlingit culture to the present day and includes 5,000 artifacts , 45,000 photographs and 200 archival collections. The latter come mainly from the fishing industry, but also from logging and home decor. The former represent the indigenous cultures, for example in the form of canoes, fish traps, halibut hooks, tools or baskets.
