Clint is a farm town of just under 1,000 people 20 miles south of El Paso .

There is a US government detention center for unaccompanied adolescents and children (detention camp). It serves to deport these adolescents separated from their parents to Mexico . According to reports from various lawyers, inhumane conditions exist in the camp.

From a statistical point of view, the location in the El Paso Metropolitan Statistical Area is taken into account.
