Clipping (media monitoring)

As "clipping" or "press clipping" (eng. Press cutting ) are in the media monitoring the clippings indicated.

Depending on the copyright and intended use, the media presence is documented by a digital or analog facsimile of the original newspaper article or an Internet page and supplemented with sources and additional information such as circulation , reach , publisher , placement and so on. In some cases, original articles are also cut out and drawn onto a DIN A4 sheet of paper. For electronic clipping, the Portable Document Format (PDF) has currently prevailed due to its ease of printing .
