The Club Colonial de Fort-de-France is a football club from the French island of Martinique . The club based in Fort-de-France was founded in 1906, making it the oldest sports club on the island and plays its home games at the Stade Pierre Aliker . After the club was able to celebrate numerous successes in the national league, especially in the 1920s, 1930s and 1940s, things went downhill noticeably in the following decades (apart from a few cup wins). Finally, the club was relegated from the top division in 2007, before being promoted again two years later and in 2011 for the first time in almost 40 years again became champions. At the same time, they won the Trophée des clubs champions des Antilles-Guyane , a cup competition in which clubs from the French overseas territories of Guadeloupe , Martinique and French Guiana take part, their first international title.

With a total of 19 championship wins, Club Colonial, whose club colors are black and white, are the record champions of Martinique. With the four trophy successes so far, a participation in the Coupe de France was also associated, but the club has not yet made it past the entry round.
