Codex Demidovianus

The Codex Demidovianus (Siglum dem , No. 59 after Beuron) is a manuscript from the 13th century. It contains the text of the Acts of the Apostles , the Epistles of Paul , the Catholic Epistles and the Revelation in the Latin translation of the Vulgate with passages from the older version of the Vetus Latina . In addition, the Euthalian apparatus and commentaries on the Book of Revelation are listed for Paul's letters. The text shows Lyon (Burgundian) local color.

The manuscript was in the possession of the Russian magnate Pawel Grigoryevich Demidow in the 18th century. Their location has been unknown since then. The text was written by Christian Friedrich von Matthaei in Novum Testamentum . Vol. IX. Rigae 1782-88. p. XXX-XXXIII printed.
