Cointrin is a place in the municipality of Meyrin , Canton of Geneva .

At the beginning of the 1920s, Geneva-Cointrin Airport was built north of the town . In addition to the first name Aéroport de Genève-Cointrin , Aéroport international de Genève (i.e. without the addition of Cointrin ) has recently been used.

The place is now in the agglomeration of Geneva . There is a Cointrin stop on the Cornavin – La Plaine – Bellegarde line . The place has its own zip code: 1216.
