Colin Falconer
Colin Falconer (* 1953 in London ; actually: Colin Richard Bowles ) is a British author and has achieved international fame as a writer of historical novels.
Before becoming a writer, he worked as a freelance journalist and wrote articles for magazines and newspapers. He also wrote for radio and television while working on his first novel for five years.
His breakthrough came with his bestseller "The Sultana". Falconer's novels have so far been translated into 16 languages. He regularly travels long distances to get to know the places where his novels are shown. Colin Falconer now lives with his family in a small coastal town in Western Australia .
