The Colorado History Museum was an American museum in Colorado that focused on the history of the state. The seat was in Denver . The museum existed from 1976 through March 28, 2010 under the administration of the Colorado Historical Society , now known as History Colorado . Then the building was demolished. The exhibits were transferred to the newly built History Colorado Center in the south .
