Colosseum (Bergedorf)

The Colosseum in Hamburg-Bergedorf was a large event hall in the Italian quarter.

history

The building was built in 1842 in the neoclassical style. It had a large hall that was used for dance events, theater performances and also political events. In 1953 it was converted into a cinema crank Bergedorf with 543 seats, which was in operation until 1969.

In 1984 it was torn down and overhauled with a parking garage.
