The Compagnie Financière Tradition (CFT), based in Lausanne is an international Swiss financial industry and the world's third largest broker in the area of OTC -traded instruments.

The company, which is listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange, is represented in 29 countries and employs around 2,300 people. In 2019, CFT generated sales of 924 million Swiss francs .

history

Compagnie financière Tradition was founded in 1959 by André Lévy from Lausanne . In 1986 he sold the company to the French group Pallas, which later became the Pallas-Stern group, but went bankrupt in the mid-1990s. As a result, CFT was sold to the French group Viel & Cie. sold, which in turn was taken over by Patrick Combes as the smallest French broker in 1979 .
