Complementary code keying
Complementary Code Keying (CCK) is a modulation method that is used in wireless networks ( WLAN ) in accordance with the IEEE 802.11b specification. CCK replaces the Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum (DSSS) used in the original IEEE 802.11 standard .
In contrast to DSSS, with CCK information is also encoded in the spreading code , which significantly increases the achievable transmission rate (with 802.11b to a gross 11 MBit / s).
