Composition standard

The composition standard specifies how components in a component model are to be assembled into larger units. It also describes how the component delivery ( deployment ) works.

The required elements of a component package and the process of packaging a component are also described. A package contains all the necessary descriptions and files to be able to integrate a component in a corresponding component model implementation .

In short, the Composition Standard is used to clearly separate a component from other components and the underlying operating system .
