Concerto Munich
Concerto München is a baroque orchestra, founded in 2016 and made up of international performers from the early music scene . The artistic director is the organist and harpsichordist Johannes Berger . The main goal is to present a broad repertoire of original instruments in historically informed performance practice.
Concerto München played at the Mainz Music Summer 2016, a cooperation between Südwestrundfunk and the Villa Musica Rheinland-Pfalz Foundation . Members of the orchestra received prizes at the Bruges Early Music Competition , the Biagio Marini Competition and the Grand Prix Bach de Lausanne .
