Conchiglioni

Conchiglioni (ital.) Are large, shell- shaped pasta made from durum wheat semolina , which are served with various fillings and sauces. Due to their shape, they are filled with minced meat, mushrooms, spinach or cheese and baked. They are a variant of Italian pasta that are occasionally made in the three colors of the Italian flag.

The smaller variant is called a conchiglie .
