The Conductix-Wampfler GmbH is a manufacturer of systems for energy and data transmission to mobile consumers based in Märkt , a district Weil am Rhine . history

The company was founded in 1959 by Manfred Wampfler in Lörrach . In 1963 the company moved to the newly developed industrial area of ​​Märkt. In the 1970s the company expanded to Ireland and the USA , and in the 1990s to Asia.

In 2007 the Delachaux Group acquired 100% of the shares in what was then Wampfler AG. The energy and data transmission division now operates under the name Conductix-Wampfler.
