Consilium formatum

Consilium formatum was the name of the council of the Heilbronner Bund (1633-35) during the Thirty Years' War , which advised the board of directors headed by Axel Oxenstierna .

The consilium consisted of three Swedish representatives and seven representatives of the German members of the Federation. The management was with Count Axel Gustafsson Oxenstierna af Södermöre (1583-1654). Council members included Johann VIII. Count zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Hohenstein (1601–1657), Johann Konrad Freiherr Varnbuler von and zu Hemmingen (1595–1657), the Württemberg Chancellor Johann Jakob Löffler (1582–1638), Philip-Reinhardt von Solms and Count von Hohen-Solms as well as the Palatinate Colonel Georg Hans von Peblis (1577–1650).
