Constrained Application Protocol
The Constrained Application Protocol ( CoAP ) is a web transfer protocol for the Internet of Things (IoT) developed by the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF ).
It is a protocol that has been specially developed for embedded devices and adopts the main features of REST . The protocol is specified in RFC 7252 .
