The Contracting and Law (CUR) is a legal journal. It was founded in 2004 and is published quarterly.

The CuR focuses on the legal aspects of energy contracting and energy efficiency. In addition, she deals with topics related to the planning and implementation of decentralized energy supply concepts, in particular local and district heating, combined heat and power and energy modernization.
Another focus is on energy tax and electricity tax law, provided that decentralized energy supply concepts are affected.

The CuR is published by Bodak Verlag in Düsseldorf. The publisher was founded in the legal form of a GmbH in December 2009 and took over the magazine at the beginning of 2010 from Verlag Energie und Umwelt. In addition to the CuR, the Bodak Verlag also publishes the Renewable Energy Law (REE) .
