Convent of German Corporations Associations
The Convent of German Corporations Associations ( CDK ) is an overarching working group of active corporation associations that has existed since 1951 . According to his own statements, he now only represents the interests of three or four corporation associations (as of January 2017).
structure
The tasks of the CDK are to solve questions and problems of the member associations and the German corporation in general, to represent the interests of its member associations vis-à-vis the public - universities, business and the state - and to mediate between the associations. In particular, the exchange of information between the associations is in his area of responsibility and interests. In July 2010, the dissolution of the CDK was considered, but ultimately rejected in December 2010.
Member associations
All member associations of the CDK are based on the Lebensbund principle, the convention principle and the academic principle, and maintain traditional student customs. The CDK stands independently next to the Convent of German Academic Associations (CDA) and is supported by it in every respect. He was a member of the Working Group of Academic Associations (AaV).
