Copa Juan Pinto Duran

The Copa Juan Pinto Durán was a football competition.

The cup was played between the national teams of Chile and Uruguay, each with the determination of the winner by means of a home and away leg in the cities of Montevideo and Santiago . Between 1963 and 1988 this competition was held eight times. The event was named after the Chilean football official Juan Pinto Durán . Juan Pinto Durán was one of the organizers of the 1962 World Cup . The team from Uruguay and Chile won the title five times . The allocation of the titles 1965 and 1979 is not certain.
