history

The club was founded in 1987 under the name Carlsro Rollers in Rødovre . The name fell on Carlsro because all of the founding members grew up in this area. Nevertheless, the club name was changed a few times and finally ended up with the Dumbo Rollers and Rødovre Vikings to its current name. In its inaugural season, third place could be achieved in the first unofficial Danish championship. In 1991 the Vikings were Danish champions at the first official championship in Denmark.
