CopyWrite

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Quaid Software's CopyWrite ( copywrit.com ) was a program for making exact diskette copies .

The program ran under the DOS operating systems. In contrast to diskcopy.com , which was part of the basic equipment of the operating system, it enabled exact copies - regardless of possible copy restrictions.

The first version of CopyWrite was published in September 1984, the last in January 1990 (the versions were not numbered, but instead bore the month and year of the publication date).

CopyWrite is said to have been the most popular program for creating exactly the same diskette copies in the 1980s.
