Cordura is a registered trademark of the Swiss company Invista , a subsidiary of Koch Industries , Inc. It is a fabric made of polyamide (nylon).

In the production of Cordura, cut polyamide fibers are spun again and then woven. Since it is more tear-resistant than normal nylon, it is used in the manufacture of protective motorcycle clothing, work clothing, harnesses, sports bags, rucksacks and the like. used.
