Cormac Breathnach
Cormac Breathnach (* near Cahersiveen , County Kerry , † May 29, 1956 in Dublin ) was an Irish politician and sat from 1932 to 1954 in the Dáil Éireann , the lower house of the Irish Parliament .
Breathnach was elected in 1932 in the constituency of Dublin North for the Fianna Fáil in the 7th Dáil Éireann. He was re-elected seven times in total. From the 1938 elections in the constituency of Dublin North-West . In the 1954 elections for the 15th Dáil, Breathnach did not stand again.
Breathnach was a member of Dublin City Council from 1933 to 1955. As such, he held the office of Lord Mayor of Dublin from 1949 to 1950 .
