The Almbuch ( Bavarian-Austrian ), Alpbuch or Seybuch ( Alemannic ) is the share book of cooperative alpine meadows (alpine cooperatives, cooperative alps, corporation alps).

In Almbuch the most important rights and obligations of the cooperative or of the partial rights (for example, Kuhrechte ) noted. Almgenossenschaften arisen in the past due stately / official orders or legal transaction agreement ( union ).

The existence of an alpine register on the properties belonging to the alpine cooperative must be noted in the land register or another public register , depending on the country . Alpine books can be found mainly in Liechtenstein, Austria and Switzerland. Only in Liechtenstein is the Alpine book (Almbuch) regulated in property law (SR) itself (Art 158 ​​to 170 SR). In Austria and Switzerland, the provisions can be found in a wide variety of laws and regulations. Alpine books are of particular importance to legal historians because of the centuries-old and verifiable rights and legal institutions that are regulated therein .
