Cornrows
Cornrows ( English corn , corn ',' cereals 'and rows , rows'; short corns or Rows ) denote one of Africa derived straw hairstyle . Synonym is also the name Canerows (Engl. To cane used plait '). Cornrows are worn by both women and men.
The braiding
The braiding of cornrows is uncomfortable to painful, depending on the sensitivity of the scalp and the caution of the braider, whereby the scalp can be irritated for about a week due to the strong tensile load. Durability and care

Therefore, the shelf life of cornrows varies from a few days to two and a half months, depending on the skills of the braider. Synthetic hair is often also braided in, which can extend the shelf life by a few weeks.
