Corporate event management

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Corporate Event Management deals with the planning and implementation of corporate events . A corporate event is understood to be events where the organizer is a company or an institution but does not aim to maximize profits directly. Corporate events are usually aimed at a closed group of people such as employees, customers, shareholders or business partners of the company. In contrast to other events, the budget for a corporate event does not result from the expected sales, but is determined beforehand by the planning team or the management. Some companies outsource the entire corporate event management to an external agency. Other companies, however, have entire departments that deal with corporate event management. Corporate events can include events such as in-house exhibitions, opening ceremonies, general meetings, press conferences, private customer events or employee events such as a Christmas party. In corporate event management, strategies from the field of project management are mostly used to make the event a success.
