The Trappistinnenkloster Boa Vista , official name Mosteiro Trapista Nossa Senhora da Boa Vista , is since 2009 the monastery of Trappist nuns in Rio Negrinho in the diocese of Joinville in Brazil .

The Chilean Trappist Abbey of Quilvo founded the Nossa Senhora da Boa Vista (Our Lady of the Beautiful View) nunnery in the Brazilian state of Santa Catarina not far from Rio Negrinho in 2009 , which was elevated to a priory in 2018 . The founding bishop was Irineu Roque Scherer . The monastery is located in a largely German-influenced area . It is under the supervision of the relatively nearby Trappist Abbey of Novo Mundo .
