Corvinus Prize
The Corvinus Prize is a prize from the Budapest European Institute, named after Matthias Corvinus , and has been awarded since 1997. Recipients of this award can be scientists, artists or politicians who have made a special contribution to bringing Hungarian and European culture closer together.
The prize, which was donated by the co-founder of the European Institute, Liechtenstein Senator Herbert Batliner , is 30,000 Swiss francs and is awarded every two years at the suggestion of the members of the Board of Trustees.
