Cost per lead

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Cost per lead (CPL) or contact payment is a billing method in e-commerce (e-marketing). The advertising partner is usually remunerated on the basis of the contact addresses (leads) obtained. This type of remuneration is often used in areas in which remuneration based on the direct purchase of products cannot be carried out. In practice, this can be, for example, requests for advice from insurance brokers, catalog orders or e-mail addresses for newsletters.
