Crève-Cœur (also: Crève-Coeur , Crèvecœur , Crèvecoeur ) is a breed of domestic chicken from Normandy that was first described in the middle of the 16th century and is considered the oldest breed of crested chicken in France. The breed was bred from fowls from the region around the town of Crèvecœur-en-Auge in the Calvados department . The breed embodies a bulky looking country hen with a medium-sized, somewhat elongated, angular body. The care is taken over by the "special association of the crested chickens and rare chicken breeds".

With the dwarf crève coeur, there is also a breed of bantam that is looked after by the “special association of silk fowl and pygmy bonnet breeders”.
